El entrenamiento en reanimación cardiopulmonar (RCP) y su calidad son fundamentales para mejorar la tasa de supervivencia de un paro cardíaco. A pesar de los avances en la formación en reanimación cardiopulmonar, las tasas de supervivencia del paro cardíaco siguen siendo subóptimas tanto en los entornos hospitalarios como extrahospitalarios.
