IX Meeting of Cancer Registries of Ecuador

Abstract

The cancer registry meeting held between August 1 and 2, 2024, at the facilities of the Society for the Fight against Cancer, Cuenca Nucleus, was resumed after 5 years, as one of the essential activities for the performance, monitoring and follow-up of the activities of the country's cancer registries. The meeting was attended by 25 professionals, among which the coordinators and registrars of the Cancer Registries of Quito, Guayaquil, Cuenca, Manabí, Loja and Machala stand out, as well as delegates from the SOLCA Tungurahua Nucleus, who addressed topics of current interest with keynote presentations, as well as discussions at work tables.
