Twin anemia polycythemia sequence in dichorionic diamniotic twin pregnancy is uncommon; however, cases have been described due to the presence of placental arteriovenous anastomoses that form vascular connections and lead to chronic blood exchange between both twins, thus resulting in a polycythemia anemia syndrome. form vascular connections. The diagnosis of this entity can be complex; therefore, ultrasound monitoring and evaluation of pregnancy are imperative to prevent the development of this type of complications. The sequelae can be devastating, generating a significant impact on perinatal morbidity and mortality. Treatment options vary according to different factors such as gestational age, severity, and availability of resources.
